About Tow Care

Tow Care is a family business based in Brisbane, that offers mobile services to detail, repair and maintain your caravan or trailer.

After a long love affair with caravans, campers and the outdoor, I decided to build a mobile service business for like minded people.

With a background in engineering and small business management you can be assured that every service delivered by Tow Care has been well planned to underpin a quality result for our customers.

The business will pursue franchise partners in 2012, to increase the coverage of our services, which currently extend across greater Brisbane.

Personal Interests

Apart from the joy brought by friends and family, it’s hard not to answer the call of the wild in outback Australia.

My escape route is a Landrover Discovery Td5, fully rigged for touring and camping.

I’ve been lucky to spend many years escaping Brisbane city, to campsites in and around South East Queensland.

September 2008 saw a five vehicle Landrover (go the poms!) convoy  record a 5,500   km trip of corner country. (The corners where the  Australian States of   Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and  the Northern  Territory  meet.)  The convoy also visited Lake Eyre, the  lowest point  in  Australia.

August 2009 was a pinnacle year however, with a 6000 km trip touring the  Simpson Desert and central parts of Australia. The back seats were  removed to carry 2 jerry cans of diesal and 3 jerry cans of water, for  the 550 km crossing. The three car Landrover convoy also visited classic  Australian outback towns like Thargomindah, Innaminca, Birdsville,  Mount Dare, Finke and Alice Springs.

Projects

My current project is a slide on camper, designed to fit any 6×4 trailer. The construction deploys the latest composite sheet materials for light weight and strength.
